Inspector Notes

An unannounced Renewal Inspection was conducted 3/14/22 from 1pm to 2:40pm. There were 31 (infants to 4yrs) directly supervised by 6 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed napping. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Based on observation, the facility did not ensure that hazardous substances were kept inaccessible to children at all times.
Evidence: observed hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes accessible to children in the 4 year old classroom on the second level of the school. The items were given to the staff by a parent.
