Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 4/24/2023 from 10:00am to 11:45am. There were 34 (Infants to preschool) directly supervised by 6 staff. The physical plant, 2 staff records, 5 children?s records, no children's medications and medication authorization records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, listening to stories, and playing outside. Diapering and hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Violations
2Evidence: observed in the infant classroom five children and one staff member. The staff stated that the child was not in there long, and removed one of the children from the classroom.
Evidence: observed that the first aid kits were kept in a cabinet near the director's office that remained unlocked during the inspection visit. Observed in a first aid kit kept in the closet had several packets of aspirin inside.
