Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 1/30/24 and concluded on 1/30/24. There were 19 children present with eight staff supervising and one program director. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and two staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:05 am and concluded at 13:00:00 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center failed to ensure that staff shall sit with children during meal times.
Evidence:
In the pre-K class and the 2 year old class the staff did not sit with the children during lunch.
Plan of Correction: Ensure all staff know they need to sit with children during all meal times.
