The vendor shall keep a record of prescription and nonprescription medication given to children as required. Two emergency medications were given to Child 1 on December 16, 2025, but only one was recorded on the medication log.
Plan of Correction: Staff members refreshed their MAT training. All medications will be logged in the future.
Standard 8VAC20-790-810-F
A child with a diagnosed food allergy shall not be served any food identified in the written care plan. On December 16, 2025, Child 1 was served a food that was identified as a food allergen on the written allergy action plan. The child showed signs of an allergic reaction. The child was given emergency medications and received outside medical treatment.
Plan of Correction: Center has changed the food policy and provided additional training to staff.
