8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 4/8/2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 3 children (8 points) supervised by 1 direct care staff. The home, 1 staff record, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no children's medications on site today. Children were observed napping and playing freely. There was a sufficient supply of books, toys, and materials, which were found to be developmentally appropriate for the children in care at the time of inspection. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the Violation Notice.
