Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring visit and facility tour was conducted on 8/24/2022. At the time of inspectors' arrival there were 61 infant to preschool aged children in care with 9 staff members and 2 administrators. Children were observed interacting with staff, nap, and hand washing. A sample of 5 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Injury reports were also reviewed. Assistant Director reported that there have been no medications are not being administered at this time. Areas of noncompliance are identified on the violation notice and were discussed with the director in an exit meeting at the conclusion of this inspection.

Based on observation it was determined the center did not ensure that there was 12 inches of space between occupied cots.
Evidence:
1. There were several cots in classroom 2 that were closer together than 12".
2. Director confirmed that the cots were not 12" apart.
Plan of Correction: The Director will remind staff about appropriate cot spacing.
