Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 11:30 am - 2:15 pm. There were 97 children in care being supervised by 18 staff. The children were observed eating lunch, playing outdoors, and resting. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of ten child records and six staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on observation of the infant room it was determined that cribs were not placed where they were are out of reach of outside objects such as curtains. Evidence: There were three cribs placed in front of a large window in the infant room which were within reach of curtains.
Plan of Correction: The curtains will be removed.
