Inspector Notes

A subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 8/8/23 from 10:13 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. There were 140 children present with 21 staff providing supervision. The ages of the children ranged from four months to 12 years. Children were observed in free play, circle time and outside play. Handwashing and diaper changing was also observed. The physical plant, programming, attendance, menus, six staff records, five children?s records, emergency drills and injury reports were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
