Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on April 27, 2023. There were 6 children present with 2 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review it was determined the caregivers did not obtain the departments health and safety annual update.
Evidence:
1. Provider and caregivers all have the 10 hour course and record show each have taken various trainings over the course of a year.
2. The Provider and the caregivers have not taken the department's annual update course in the last two years.

Plan of Correction: I did not realize it was a yearly course and we will take the training.
