Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 7/7/2023 and concluded on 7/7/2023. There were 4 children present with 1 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of caregiver records, caregivers who work directly with children have not taken the departments health and safety update course.
Evidence: The provider and assistant caregiver has not taken the 3 hour annual health and safety update course.
Plan of Correction: The caregivers will take the course and email the certificate to the Inspector.
