Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on December 9, 2021. There were six children(16pts) present with two staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

1. Staff #1 and Staff #2 did not complete the department's annual health and safety update training.
2. Staff #1 confirmed that the department's health and safety update training was not completed.
Plan of Correction: Staff will complete the 3 hour training annually.
