Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on July 17, 2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, four children (9pts) were in care with one staff member present. Children were observed during snack time, toy play, and engaged in group activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Based on observation, children's hands were not washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes after eating meals or snacks.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #1 did not wash Child #4's hands with soap and running water or disposable wipes after eating a meal or snack.
Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure to wash children's hands before and after all snacks and meals.
