Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 7/31/2024 and completed on 7/31/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 am and ended at 11:45 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 84 children present and 15 staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, after the first license, the center failed to obtain annual approval from the health department for meeting requirements for water supply, sewage disposal system and food service.

Evidence:
The most recent health inspection was dated 3/1/2023.
Plan of Correction: The center obtained a health inspection on 8/1/2024. The center reports that requests had been made to complete a health inspection prior to the inspection.

Based on observation, the center failed to ensure the minimum requirements for a first aid kit.

The first aid kid did not have triangular bandages or a first aid instructional manual.
