Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted onsite. A total of 3 children (10pts) with Provider was present. Walk through of the home was conducted. The children were finishing lunch when the inspector arrived. Observation of the outside backyard and cribs were made. Positive interaction with the provider and the children was observed. All children's files and provider file were reviewed. No medication needs for children were identified and no food allergies found. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection. 7Evidence:
2 new carbon monoxide detectors were observed in store packaging but were not installed and operational.
Evidence:
Documentation of a completed health exam was not found for Child #2.
Evidence:
Prescription medication bottles were found accessible to children in care.
Evidence:
The home was not equipped with an operable smoke detector.
Evidence:
The two cribs observed did not have tight fitting sheets. One crib did not have a sheet over the mattress and was observed having a blanket over the mattress.
Evidence:
The provider has not verified the proof of age and identity for Child #1 and Child #2. Both children began care in December 2021.
Evidence:
Child #2 began care in December 2021. No record of immunizations were found.
