Inspector Notes
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 12:30pm-1:30pm. There was 1 child in the direct care and supervision of 1 caregiver. A sample of 1 child's record, and 1 caregiver's record was reviewed. The child was observed napping and lying down. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Child A, 2 years old, was sleeping during the inspection.
Evidence:
Child A sleeping in a crib then on a cot did not have a top cover.
Evidence:
The record of Child A was missing the insurance policy number and the phone numbers of 2 emergency contacts.
Evidence:
The radio on site was not operable with batteries.
Evidence:
The family day home did not have a menu with meals and snacks for the week period.
