Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-800-510-C
Based on observation and interview it was determined that the family day home did not ensure that occupied cots be at least 12 inches from each other.
Evidence:
1. The nine occupied cots at the family day home, during naptime, were not 12 inches apart from each other.
2. Both staff members confirmed that the nine occupied cots were not 12 inches apart from each other.
Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following: The staff members will move furniture around the center as well as remove the plastic drawer that contain supplies to a different area to ensure that all occupied cots are 12 inches apart from each other.
