Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on August 20, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 11:40am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 12 children present and 2 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-210-A
In addition to satisfactory completion of first aid training and CPR training,
caregivers shall obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually in
areas relevant to their job responsibilities. Both caregivers have a total of 7 hours annual training.
Plan of Correction: Both caregivers will complete additional training both online and in person to fulfill the required annual training hours. The certificates will be printed and the training will be recorded on their training logs.
