8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 3/11/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 9:30am-10:00am. There were 3 children (6 points) directly supervised by the provider. The
home, 1 staff record, 3 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely with building blocks. There was a variety of books, toys, and materials for various ages. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety
regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
