Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 11/7/2022. There were 16 children present with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program and discussed with owner during the exit interview.

Based upon observation, the facility has not ensured that areas are maintained to be in a safe condition.
Evidence:
There are two sections of paneling, one on the inside and one on the outside of the door to the two year old classroom, that have come loose creating possible pinch points.
Plan of Correction: The facility responded with the following during the inspection:
The paneling was nailed back tightly during the inspection. Routine checks will be made to ensure all areas of the center are maintained to be safe.
