Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/27/23 from 9:15am to 10:15am with the provider and an assistant. There were three children in care, ranging in age from three- to nine-years-old, for a total of five points. Children were observed playing with alphabet blocks and magnetic blocks, doing math worksheets, saying the Pledge of Allegiance, washing hands, and eating a morning snack. Morning snack consisted of crackers, cheese, strawberries, and milk. Three child records and two caregiver records were reviewed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
