An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 11/20/2024 and completed on 11/20/2024. The on-site inspection began at (time) and ended at (time). The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 5 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 10. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 4 caregiver/household member record. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program. A person 14 years of age and older must have a search of the central registry and make the information available for regulatory purposes: WHO: Person living in: An applicant's home, Home of a licensed or registered family day home provider WHAT: Child protective services central registry check WHEN: Within 30 days of a 14-year-old beginning to reside in the home or a person in the home becoming 14 years old

A search for the central registry was requested when the household member turned 14 but not followed up on and results were not received. The central registry search was requested again approximately two years and five months after the household member turned 14.
Plan of Correction: The central registry search was requested on 11/08/2024. Follow up will be completed.
