8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/11/2024 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 1:35pm and ended at 2:25pm. There were 2 caregivers with 5 children (13 points) in the daycare room at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, children were observed taking a nap as it was their designated rest period. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, evacuation drill log were reviewed. The family day home and outdoor space were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. Thank you for your cooperation today.
