Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 11:50am and 12:45pm. There were 4 children present with the Provider for a total of 10 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed eating lunch (pizza, mixed vegetables, cherries and milk). Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, topical skin products were kept beyond the expiration date of the product.
Evidence: A topical cream was observed at the family day home for Child #3. The cream expired 2/2024.
Plan of Correction: I'll send the cream home.
