Inspector Notes

An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 30 children with 5 staff providing supervision was observed. A total of 3 classrooms were occupied. The children were observed on the playground playing on the equipment, riding small trikes and digging in the sandbox. Observation of all 3 classrooms, the bathrooms and the gym was made. The center was found clean and maintained. Planter boxes on the playground had large plants that were planted at the beginning of the season by the children and some parents. Preparation was underway for the fall harvest event taking place this weekend. The children transitioned inside, washed hands and began to prepare for lunch. At the end of the inspection classroom 1 was observed setting up for naptime by laying out mats. The children were observed laying on their mats with some children quickly falling asleep. A total of 4 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Emergency drills were documented and determined complete. The previous violations from the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection occurred between 10:15am and 1:10pm. Thank you for your cooperation.
