During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated on 01/29/2025 and completed on 02/03/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 AM and ended at 12:00 PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 25 children present and 6 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records, 6 staff member records and 6 board officers/agents records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Sanitizing wipes were in the unlocked closet in the infant room.
Plan of Correction: The wipes were removed during the inspection and staff will be reminded.

Cleaning and sanitizing materials shall not be located above food and shall be stored in areas physically separate from food.

Sanitizing wipes were located on the same shelf as the baby food.

Medication shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children.

Child # 6 medication was stored in a locking bag in the emergency backpack. The locking bag was not locked.
Plan of Correction: The director will remind staff to check the locking medication bag to ensure that it is locked.

No children are allowed to drink or eat while walking around.

Child # 5 was walking around with a bottle in the child?s mouth.
Plan of Correction: The director will speak with the staff member and will make sure that no children are walking around while eating or drinking.
