Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-11:55am. There were 12 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, staff records, children?s records, household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely outside and completing hand washing routines. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an ample supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the family day home did not obtain documentation of additional immunizations for a child in care.
Evidence:
Child A- did not have documentation in record of immunizations once every six months for children under the age of two years old.
Plan of Correction: I will ask parents for new immunizations.
