Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are currently no children
enrolled in the program.
7 caregiver/household records were reviewed. See Violation Notice for non-compliance cited.
Also reviewed/inspected today: Fridge/freezer temperatures, fire extinguisher, first aid supplies, first aid/CPR certifications, emergency supplies, emergency evacuation drills, Emergency Preparedness Plan, cribs, smoke detectors and CO2 monitor. All were in compliance.

Standard 22.1-289.035-A
Based on a review of records, one household record did not contain documentation of a repeated nationwide fingerprint search within the allowable 5 year time frame.
Evidence:
Household member A's record contained fingerprint results dated 4/23/18. (expired). Provider failed to follow up on the results when they were not received along with other fingerprints taken at the same time.
Plan of Correction: Household member had fingerprints done in January 2023, prior to expiration.
The results were not received until June 23, 2023, when the provider followed up on the missing results. Results are now on file.
