Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between the hours of 9:45 am through 11:00 am. There were a total of nine children (18 points) observed with two caregivers. A total of six children's files and five staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: circle time, singing, celebrating the Luna New Year, hand washing, and other organized activities. Based on record review and interview, the provider did not obtain fingerprints for an adult Household Member.
Evidence:
1. Household Member #2 did not have documentation of results of a fingerprint based criminal history background check.
2. Caregiver #1 confirmed that Household Member #2 did not get a fingerprint based criminal history background check at the time of the inspection.
Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure that the Household Member will get the fingerprint based background check completed.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain from each adult household member a current report of tuberculosis screening.
Evidence:
1. Household Member #2 did not have documentation of a current report of tuberculosis screening.
Plan of Correction: The provider will ensure that the Household Member will get a TB test.
