A complaint inspection was conducted on 04/04/2024 to investigate a complaint received by the department involving the area of supervision on an incident occurred on 04/02/2024.
During the investigation, interviews were conducted with staff, documents, and staff/child records were reviewed.
Based on the information gathered during the investigation, the complaint was determined to be valid.

Based on interview, the Provider did not ensure that a caregiver does not exceed points maximus while supervising children.
Evidence:
1) Complainant observed when the Assistant went upstairs and left the Provider caring for 13 children totaling 26 points. 2) The Provider stated that the Assistant went upstairs to prepare lunch.
