8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes
Inspector Notes
A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on July 20, 2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 11:58am and ended at 12:40pm. There was one (1) caregiver with one (1) child in one (1) room at the time of the visit. At the start of the inspection, the child was observed eating lunch and then playing with various age-appropriate materials. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, and fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. There were no medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
