Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 07/29/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:30a.m. and ended at 1:30p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 137 children present and 22 staff. The inspector reviewed 11 children?s records and 6 staff records on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Cots shall be identified for use by a specific child.

Cots were not specifically identified for two children during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: All cots will be properly labeled in each classroom
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A-8
A written care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.

The written care plan did not include instructions for the use of one medication for Child #
Plan of Correction: An updated allergy plan will be requested from the physician that includes steps for both medications.
