During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was completed on 07/02/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 8:25 am and ended at 10:40 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 31 children present and 8 staff. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 6 staff records on-site.

This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Repeat

Areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition.

There was a shelf missing a wooden foot and was not stable,
The red long rug protecting the carpet was bunched up creating a tripping hazard.
Crack in drywall under window.
Plan of Correction: We will get a new shelf and take out the rug. Our handyman will come back out to fix the crack in the wall.

The center shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff who work with children, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities and dietary restrictions.

There was no list posted in the classroom where the child had the food allergy.
Plan of Correction: We will make list today and post in all the rooms and kitchen.
Standard 8VAC20-780-500-B
The diaper changing surface shall be clean and sanitized.

The diaper changing pad was torn in many spots which prevented the pad to be cleaned and sanitized properly.
Plan of Correction: They always let me know. I will order a new one today.
