Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 3 children (6pts) with the Provider. The children and the Provider were returning from the nearby park at the beginning of the inspection. Observation of hand washing was made. The children were offered water to drink after playing outside. The provider played an interactive music program for the children. The children were observed using tambourines, singing and dancing to the music along with the provider. Gross motor activities observed consisted of dancing, jumping, crawling and freezing in place which required the children to follow the guidance in the songs. A nice transition to table top activities which included wooden puzzles and magnetic animals which encouraged the children to match legs, arms etc. to the correct animal. 3 medications onsite, one food allergy identified and allergy action plan was verified. A total of all 4 children's records and the Provider's record was reviewed. Previous violations were reviewed and corrections verified.
