Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. There were 43 children in care being supervised by 9 staff. The children were observed eating lunch and preparing for nap. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of four child records and three staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of medication it was determined that not all medication was picked up by the parent within 14 days when an authorization for medication has expired. Evidence: The authorization form for the emergency medication for child A expired on 10/18/2022.
Plan of Correction: The parent was notified and a new authorization form was emailed to the parent during the inspection.
