During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/17/24. The on-site inspection began at 11:18 a.m. and ended at 1:04 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 47 children present and 11 staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and four staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 10/30/24. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Repeat Violation

When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care, protection, and guidance.

A seven-month-old infant was observed sleeping in their crib in an arms up swaddle.
Plan of Correction: The plan of action going forward is to ensure the care and protection of a child who can roll over, is to not allow a sleep sack that restrict arm movement.

Repeat Violation

The center is required to keep a current list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room or area where children are present.

In the toddler room a child with a documented diary intolerance was not included on the current allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions list.
Plan of Correction: Before the licensing specialist left the building all classrooms were given an updated list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room.

When a child is placed in an infant seat or highchair, the protective belt shall be fastened securely.

In the infant room a nine-month-old was observed sitting in a highchair without the protective belt fastened.
Plan of Correction: The plan of action going forward is to ensure all children who are placed in an infant seat or highchair, with a protective belt fastener, will always be fastened to ensure the safety.
