Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/03/2022 from approximately 11:20am-12:20pm. There were no children present, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records,1 staff record and 4 household member records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, child resistant protective covers were not on outlets.

Evidence:
Child resistant protective covers were not on outlets located on a power strip.
Plan of Correction: Power strip was moved during the inspection.

Based on interview, the family day home did not keep a written record of daily attendance.

Evidence:
The provider stated she was completing the attendance. Inspector witnessed the provider completing the attendance for previous days.
Plan of Correction: Attendance was up to date by the end of the inspection.

Based on record review, shelter-in-place procedures were not practiced at least twice annually.
