Inspector Notes
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today.
There were 7 children present (22 points) with one, then2 caregivers.
Children were observed playing with a variety of toys, washing hands and having lunch.
First Aid/CPR certifications, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, fridge/freezer temperatures. bathroom supplies and diapering supplies were all in compliance.
7 child and 5 caregiver/adult records were reviewed.

There is no operable fire extinguisher available. The extinguisher available has expired.

At LI arrival (10:30 AM) the provider was alone with 22 points. A second caregiver arrived in the daycare area in approximately 10 minutes.

There is no annual review and update documented for 2 of 7 records.

Evidence:
At LI arrival, one child was seated in a booster seat with the tray attached as a method of discipline. Provider stated he had attempted to bite another child and was placed in the seat to calm down for a few minutes.
