Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and an in person tour of the program.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on July 27, 2022 and concluded on July 28, 2022. There were 55 children present with12 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review of vendor interviews, the vendor did not ensure, all staff who work directly with children obtain the department?s annual health and safety update course.

Evidence: The record for staff #4 and staff #5 did not include the annual health and safety update courses. The most recent course for staff #4 was dated February 23, 2020 and for staff #5 the most recent course was dated February 9, 2020.
Plan of Correction: Teachers will complete training by the close of business 8/5/2022.
