Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 09/27/2023 from 10:05am to 11:30am. 26 children were directly supervised by 9 staff. The physical space, 4 children?s records, 4 staff records, evacuation drills, attendance, the emergency preparedness plan and required posted documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed finishing up morning snack, washing hands, going outside and engaging in age appropriate activities. Developmentally appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. Based on record review, 1 out of 4 staff records did not have 5 year repeat checks completed. Evidence: The background checks for Staff A were expired.
Plan of Correction: We will submit the forms today to get updated background checks completed as soon as possible.

Based on interviews and record review, the annual fire inspection was not completed. Evidence: The facility stated they had reached out to the fire department to obtain the inspection and were on a list.
Plan of Correction: We will reach out to the fire department today to see when they will be coming for the inspection.
