During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on January 27, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:05 and ended at 11:15. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were three children present and one caregiver; the point total was six. The inspector reviewed three children?s records and four caregiver/household member(s) records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, observations, and measurements. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-760-B
The first aid kit shall be inaccessible to children. The first aid kit was stored approximately 3' high in the living room within reach of children.
Plan of Correction: First aid kit will be placed in a locked cabinet in the kitchen.
Standard 8VAC20-800-830-C
Documentation shall be maintained of emergency evacuation drills. There was not documentation of evacuation drills conducted in October, November and December although drills were reportedly completed.
Plan of Correction: Evacuation drill will be conducted today and documented.
