Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted at 1:20pm. Observed 6 children totaling 15 points with 3 caregivers. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed napping during the inspection. The daycare areas of the home were found to be clean and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. An area of non-compliance with standards and laws reviewed was found. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@doe.virginia.gov

Based on records reviewed, 1 of 2 caregivers did not obtain a minimum of 16 hours of annual training. Evidence: Caregiver #2 obtained 10 of 16 hours of annual training.
Plan of Correction: The caregiver will register for classes as they become available, to complete the minimum 16-hour annual training.
