Violations
1Evidence:
The center's policies and procedures regarding supervision of children states that staff must "count the children using attendance tracker in the iPad before leaving the classroom and playground".
Procedures also require when "coming back inside/transition: 1. Line up children, teacher will do a name to face using the iPad tracker. 2. Before leaving the playground, the teachers will sweep the whole playground looking in any area that children can hide. 3. Through every new doorway staff will do a name to face. 4. When staff reaches their destination staff will cross reference with the roll call sheet".
On April 27, 2021 between approximatley11:20am and 11:30am staff #1 is observed allowing the children to enter into the classroom one at a time without following the centers policy of conducting the name to face check.
Staff #1 did not follow center procedures and complete a name to face check using the iPad tracker.
Staff #1 did not conduct a sweep of the outside fenced area to check areas where children can hide.
