8VAC20-790 Subsidy Program Vendor Requirements for Family Day Homes

A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on March 4, 2024 between the hours of approximately 7:55 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 8 children present with the Provider and 3 assistants for a total of 23 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with blocks, engaging in free play, singing songs and other organized activities. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were completed during this inspection. 4 children's records and 3 caregiver records were reviewed. There were 0 medications on site at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements. Thank you for your cooperation today.
