A complaint inspection was initiated at the center on July 26, 2023 and completed on September 29,2023 regarding concerns of physical plant. Interviews with staff were completed, observations were made in the center. There was preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation therefore, the complaint is determined to be valid. There was a violation cited resulting from this inspection. Based on observations and interview, the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center are maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Evidence: During observations at the center, the thermostat read 82 F inside with use of fans at the facility. Interview with staff confirmed the air conditioning unit was not in operable condition and a request for repair in progress.
