During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on September 30, 2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 11:55am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 9 children present and 3 caregivers; the point total was 25. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 caregiver records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on October 9, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Food shall be served in a clean and sanitary manner.

One spoon was used to feed child #1 and child #2 and another spoon was used to feed child #3 from the same dish by caregiver #2. One spoon was used to feed child #4, #5, #6 and #7 from the same dish by caregiver #3.
Plan of Correction: Moving forward we will have the infants with caregiver # 2 and the toddlers with caregiver #1 during lunch time. Each toddler will have their own plate and utensils to promote independence during meal time.

When meals or snacks are provided by the family day home, the menu for the current one-week period shall dated.

The menu was dated for five weeks ago.
Plan of Correction: The current date was added to the menu at the time of inspection.

Eating utensils and dishes shall be properly cleaned by prerinsing, washing, and air drying, or using a dishwasher.

One spoon was used to feed child #1 and child #2 and another spoon was used to feed child #3 from the same dish by caregiver #2. One spoon was used to feed child #4, #5, #6 and #7 from the same dish by caregiver #3. The utensils and dishes that were used to feed the children were not cleaned between feeding the children.
