Inspector Notes

An annual subsidy inspection was conducted on 6/14/23 from10:45 am to 11:50 am. There was 1 child(4 points) in care present with the vendor. The inspector reviewed 1 child's record, 1 caregiver's record and 1 adult household member records submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations. The child was observed playing with toys and eating morning snack brought from home. There were no medications on site. One crib, the first aid kit and outdoor play area was inspected.
Information gathered during the inspection determined areas of non-compliance with applicable regulations or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Based on observation, areas inside the home were not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence: Peeling paint was found on the wall and baseboard across from the dining table in the family room.
Plan of Correction: The peeling paint will be fixed by this weekend.

Based on staff interview, evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly.
Evidence: The vendor stated that evacuation drills were not practiced for the months of April and May, 2023.
Plan of Correction: Drills will be completed and documented each month.
