Inspector Notes

An in-person annual subsidy inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 06/02/2023, between the hours of 9:30 am to 11 am. There were 3 children in care (6 points) with the vendor. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 1 adult household record submitted by the vendor to ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was 1 area of non-compliance with an applicable regulations or law. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the vendor.

Based on review and interview, lockdown drill was not practiced at least annually.

Evidence -
1. On the date of inspection (06/02/2023), according to the drill log, the lockdown drill was not practiced on an annual basis.
2. The Provider stated (during an interview conducted on the date of inspection) that she was not aware of this requirement.
Plan of Correction: A lockdown drill will be conducted this year.
