Inspector Notes

An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on February 8, 2024, beginning at 12:30pm and ending at 1:45pm. There were three (3) children in attendance at the time of the inspection. Required background searches, training certificates and household member information were reviewed. A sample of requirements for daily attendance, child information/records, emergency preparedness planning and supplies were also reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or laws and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the vendor.

Based on record review, the child's information did not include the address of at least one person designated by the parent to contact in case of an emergency if the parent cannot be reached.
Evidence:
1. The record for Child #2 did not the address of an emergency contact on file.
2. The record for Child #3 did not have the address of an emergency contact on file.
Plan of Correction: I will have the parent write the address information today.
