Inspector Notes

This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the home was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the daycare areas of the home.

An unannounced subsidy inspection was conducted at 10:05am. The vendor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 3 children = 5 points with the vendor. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were napping, and doing virtual school during the inspection. The daycare was well supplied with toys and equipment for the children, and appeared clean and organized today. Outdoor active play is on the back fenced patio area, and included multiple play options. The vendor participates in the USDA Food Program. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed.
