Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was initiated and completed on 1/14/2025. The inspection started at 1:04pm and concluded at 1:47pm. There were four children present and one caregiver; the point total was ten. The inspector reviewed four children?s records and four caregiver/household members records on-site on 1/14/2025.
This inspection included document review, tour of the home, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Areas and equipment of the family day home, inside and outside, shall be maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

The closet door had a large crack in the middle of the door in the basement where the provider cares for children.
Plan of Correction: I will get it fixed in two weeks.
Standard 8VAC20-790-430-A-3
Lockdown procedures shall be practiced at least annually.

The provider stated she did not complete the lockdown procedures in 2024.
Plan of Correction: I will practice it and write it down each year.
